As recently discussed, delirium is a common but concerning problem with hospital patients. Over 200 hospitals offer a program called the Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP). The program provides a non-medical method to prevent, assess and monitor delirium. Understanding and properly treating delirium is critical in preventing further complications.
