New Charity in Scotland to Focus on Palliative Hospital Care

Figures show one in 20 patients will die in a hospice but 50% will die in hospital.  Hospitals in Scotland aspire to offer 24/7 palliative care to patients at the end of life.  This care would aim to be like that of Hospice.  The new charity will help fund this care.  Do you think hospitals in the US would consider following suit?
