National Institute on Aging awards major grant to Florida and Arizona

Florida and Arizona are among U.S states with the fastest-growing number of seniors. Hence, the National Institute of Aging has awarded a $5.7 million grant to the Universities of Florida, Miami and Arizona to partner in a 5 year study.  The research will address whether cognitive functioning improves when using a “combination of computer-based cognitive training exercises and direct electrical stimulation to the brain.”
