It May Finally be Time for the Caregiver to be Better Cared For

Progress is on the horizon for caregivers including a bill which would create the national Care Corps program, in which family caregivers would receive help from volunteers; a bill providing Social Security earnings credit for unpaid time off; and the CARE Act requiring hospitals to provide information and even training to family caregivers of patients discharged from the hospital .
