The Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging will host its annual caregiving conference from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 12 at 11890 Fairhill Road in Cleveland.
This year’s conference will focus on “Empower Family Caregivers: Approaches to Managing Mental Illness and Dementia.” Keynote speaker is Richard Shultz, the director of the University Center for Social and Urban Research and director of gerontology at the University of Pittsburgh. Shultz will discuss “Family Caregiving: Health Effects, Treatments and Future Directions.”
The conference costs $75 for adults and $50 for students. Benjamin Rose staff members can attend for free.
