Since 2002, thousands of professionals representing healthcare and numerous other industries have developed meaningful relationships through participating in the monthly Eldercare Professionals of Ohio networking events. In November, our members and visitors gather together to reflect on the countless lives that have been touched by organizations and professionals during the year. Our hope is that through a festive experience, we will collectively contribute to their ongoing efforts.
We invite you to our 2014 annual silent auction. This year, our event will be held, Friday, November 21, 2014 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Cornerstone of Hope. The auction is held during the Eldercare Professionals of Ohio, LLC holiday networking event held at Cornerstone of Hope’s facility located at 5905 Brecksville Rd., 44131. All of the funds raised from the auction will be donated to support the services provided by Cornerstone of Hope. Cornerstone of Hope exists because, in this life, the unthinkable sometimes happens. A child dies before his parents. A husband or wife dies leaving a family with anguish and unthinkable pain and no support. A student dies, leaving a school reeling over the shock and sorrow. In the loneliness, people desperately need to gain hope and connect with those who understand. When we are left without the smile and the touch of the one whom we loved so dearly, we need a hand to hold, to pull us out of the pit and the pain.
EPO is requesting various auction items to support this event. We have witnessed extremely generous and creative donations during the past 3 years. We are requesting your participation to promote another successful event. Through donating an item, you'll be making a tax deductible contribution that will support the valuable services provided by Cornerstone of Hope. We ask that auction items be valued at a minimum of $50. Keep in mind this is a great opportunity to shop for your holiday gifts!
Additionally, you will benefit through the exposure of your company's name displayed to those who attend the event. Donors will be listed on the event program, and your merchandise will be on display during the event and for the entire week following the event. As a donor, you'll be invited to attend the event and have a guest join you. You may wish to partner with another company to increase the value of your donation. As a result, you will receive additional exposure and increase the bid levels to support Cornerstone of Hope.
